Electrical and Electronics Engineering is an engineering discipline imparting knowledge on theoretical and practical aspects of different areas of electrical engineering.The Department commenced in 2009 offering B.Tech Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with an intake of 60 students. The course is designed to have an effective blend of engineering intuition and mathematical rigour on students. The course encompasses the fundamental aspects such as power generation, transmission and distribution, power system protection, electrical machines, measurement systems, control systems, electronics devices and circuits, power electronics etc. Apart from this, it gives emphasis to emerging technologies like high voltage engineering, power semi conductors, digital signal processing, communication The department has highly qualified and dedicated staff in all majo r areas of the discipline along with trained technical non-teaching staffs and has the best laboratory facilities.
