Prof. Dr. D. P. Balchandran has an experience of over 33 years as an academician and administrator in various Government Engineering Colleges and retired as Professor from College of Engineering Trivandrum, Government of Kerala.
During his tenure he served as Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering, Right to Information Officer, Expert Member for Affiliation in KU, Expert Member in Kerala PSC, IISER, VHSE and Member PG Board of Studies MG University.
He has obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Kerala in Power Quality, M.Tech from IIT Madras in Power System and B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from Calicut University.
He has presented many papers in reputed international conferences. His papers have been published in leading Journals as well. He is also the Doctoral Committee Member of KTU in Power system. His areas of interest and expertise include Power Quality, System Design and Grid Connected Solar Power.
